One More Round, 2005, 18x12x12’ (549x366x366cm), fused glass, steel, sound and light interactive component
Sculpture On The Gulf 2005, Waiheke, NZ
One More Round is a large truncated-icosahedron construction made out of 180 slumped, recycled glass triangles inserted into 32 steel frames. The sculpture has an interactive sound and light component. When you enter the work you trigger a 1 minute long sound component which was composed from a variety of explosions; ranging from atomic bomb explosions to earthquakes. The sound and light components are powered by a solar panel installed on the top of the work.
