Shelter Structure 1 and 2 are two architectural construction models designed out of multiple geometric forms that are built with two sizes of equilateral triangles.
The form of the work imitates a natural molecular system. In nature everything is built out of three basic triangular systems and their combinations and multiplications: the tetrahedral, the octahedral and the icosahedral. These works serve as an example of how multiple Archimedean and Platonic solids can relate to each other growing into one complex structure. They are an illustration of one of the most effective and economical ways of enclosing space.
