Invivo Arch

As part of TEDx 2014, Gregor Kregar was invited by Invivo to make an installation utilizing their wine boxes. He constructed a large temporary arch using 424 Invivo boxes. Kregar also features in the current edition of Art NZ, pick up a copy to read about his work and practice.

Tauranga Art Gallery’s atrium is now home to a new work by sculptor Gregor Kregar. Foucault’s Pendulum is a suspended installation made from aluminium combined with recycled neon lights and is named after French physicist Leon Foucault who, in 1851, designed an experimental device to demonstrate the rotation of Earth. Winner of the 2015 Southern Way McClelland Commission

Gregor Kregar has won the 2015 Southern Way McClelland Commission. His commission will be displayed on the Peninsula Link freeway in Mornington Peninsula for four years before becoming part of McClelland’s permanent collection.
