3.8x 2.5×2.5m, mirror polished aluminium and 40 cold catode lights, Palace For The Arts, Cairo, Egypt
Liquid Geometry 3 is an aluminium suspended structure designed for the enrance space of Palace Of The Arts, the main venue for 12th Cairo Biennale. The structure mimich ceometric shape of the space and can be seen from bellow as well as above. The structure is surrounded by 40 cold cathode lights that make further reflections on the works surface creating a complex perspective-destroying maze of blue light. The work is made out hundreds of components that are laser cut out of light and strong Alanod Aluminium.
